On the 7^th morning, December 2023, despite showers, hundreds of jubilant Myitkyina people, priests, religious and well-wishers gathered to witness the grand inauguration of the majestic new building and celebrate the 75^th platinum Jubilee of the catechetical institute. In the presence of Cardinal Charles Bo, Bishop Francis Daw Tang and Bishop Phillip, the Festival helium balloons were gloriously released from the ribbon cut by ten representatives. Mr. Zau Li Gam, the construction in charge handed over the building. The Mass was piety embedded in gaiety with the mellifluous choir chanting choicest hymns. The sermon was a memory down the corridors of memory. The colorful Manau dancer graced the offertory procession. The end of the Mass was crowded in grateful honoring the VIPs and generous donors.

In the evening, a thanksgiving grand dinner was attended by 250 guests. The music extravaganza of Saya Peter Matsaw portrayed the grace-filled 75 years history of St. Luke. The giant LED screen added color to the show. The future plans were also show cased to the guests.
