To strengthen the staff in their capacity at work, St. Luke’s College organized the ‘Human Resource Management (HRM)’ training on 9 and 10 October 2023. There were 19 participants and the facilitators were from Myitkyina KMSS. The course included brainstorming, individual and group experience sharing, presentation sessions, and Q&A sessions.

The agenda for the first day of the training included topics: Underpinning Theories of HRM, Changing Nature of HRM, 7 stages of Recruitment, Filling Positions, How to arrange vacancies, interview and choose applicants.  On the second day, we studied Myanmar Labor Law. We had more time for group sharing and questions and answers on the laws.

The training though short was of tremendous help to the personal development and group dynamic of the staff. All the participants reap bountiful harvests from the training.
