On 22 February, 2018 at the end of the Festive Mass on St. Peter’s Chair, St. Luke’s college launched her new website www.sanluka.org  with the blessing of Bishop Francis Daw Tang, Bishop of Myitkyina Diocese and in the presence of   Fr. Dr. Peter Hka Awng Tu, Social Communication Director of the Diocese. The Staff, Students and the usual morning Mass participants too witnessed this memorable function.  Now, you are welcome to know more about us and our activities online!

On this occasion, as part of a sermon, Fr. Peter mentioned clearly on the importance and benefits of social communication and its usage in the media world. After which Mr. Christie Thang Suan Kim, Project Dean, explained distinctly about the web project – the contents and its various sections. Finally, Fr. Leo Gopal, the Director, besides welcoming all at the beginning of the Mass, sincerely THANKED various persons for their unique contributions: Bishop Francis for his ongoing support as the Patron; Fr. Peter for his ever supportive role to form students as an effective communicators; Fr. Leo Schumacher, the Columban Priest from Japan, for his full financial assistance; Mr. Christie for his professional role to design the web page with Shwe Hosting, Yangon; Fr. Girish Santiago, SJ for his meticulous monitoring skills of the project. Cheers to the entire team of SLC, headed by Fr. Leo Gopal, the dreamer of the project!
