This morning, 9 May 2022, our St. Luke’s College welcomed new students with the Eucharistic Celebration at 6.30am. The celebrants were Fr. Peter Hka Aung Tu, Fr. Leo Gopal (Director), Fr. Lawrence, SJ (Associate Director), Fr. Paul Tu Ja, SJ, Fr. Curt Zion Pala, SSC and Fr. Stephen Zaw Min Latt. Currently, there are 45 second year students and 69 newly arrived first year students from Myitkyina, Bamaw and Lashio Dioceses. The second year students sang a welcoming song at the end of the Eucharist. A simple breakfast was served to all attendants after the Mass.

At 90:00 am, the new students and staffs gathered together for self-introduction and orientation. During the orientation program, Fr. Lawrence gave an encouragement talk to the new students. The talk was very inspiring which highlighted the three crucial points: living happily, feeling at home and keeping the good name of St. Luke’s College.
